20 years ago there were 17,500 forecourts stretching the length and breadth of the UK.
Today, there are approximately 7,900 forecourts and the reason for this reduction is all down to the very slim margins that retailers have to work with. You see old forecourts up and down the country that are now selling second hand cars or providing vehicle wash facilities. This trend is set to continue and it is likely that another 1,000 forecourts will disappear over the next 12 to 18 months. This diminishing network along with high fuel prices poses a challenge to fleet operators.
With network coverage in mind, Motiva Group in partnership with Juice Fuel Management are able to offer fuelcards from the leading network providers, encompassing both retail and commercial networks, in order to give our customers the best available choice.
Our range of commercially priced fuelcards gives access to 5,600 forecourts, 70% of the total network in the UK. These networks include Keyfuels, Shell, Esso and Texaco. Tesco has been recently added to the keyfuels network making it even easier for car and LCV drivers to access fuel at commercial rates.
Juice Fuel Management provides a valuable service that will map your operational locations against all the major fuelcard providers. This means that with their consultative approach our customers can identify the network that best meets the needs of the operational fleet, ensuring that driver downtime and route deviation costs are minimised.
